This iMDB script is meant to be easy to set up and use. It is highly configurable, with support for pre and bot, and can even export variables to addons. In it's strictest mode, it require only one file (plus config). All the other bells and whistles can be added as you see fit, and with little effort.
A thorough README and FAQ is included, guiding the setup. To ease upgrades, there's a CHANGELOG and an UPGRADING file, telling you what to do. For those with more than basic skills, there are diff files used to patch the sources.
With probably the best url finder to date, it will find imdb info in almost any .nfo.
Output can be sent to your bot, and/or to a file in the release-dir. If you feel like it, you can modify the output exactly the way you want, using the advanced features. Or you can just skim the config and use the defaults.
Included is also a "date" finder, and the ability to create a special file/dir with key components of imdb-info your choice.
With the addon feature, you can create almost anything with the info availible. Included is two scripts, one which will create sorted symlinks based on year, genre(s), imdb top250, imdb score, and/or title, the other can enforce your nuke policy, or log what should've been nuked to a file or an irc channel.
Your channel users may also look up imdb info using the !imdb trigger.
